Syntax
<Result> = <Chart control>.SurfaceGetData(<Subscript> , <Value to retrieve>)
<Result>: Real Retrieved value. <Chart control>: Control name Name of the Chart control to use (in the window, page or report editor). <Subscript>: Integer Data index defined by the order of addition in the chart. If the data corresponding to the specified index does not exist, the retrieved value is 0. <Value to retrieve>: Integer Indicates the value to retrieve: | | grXCoordinate | X-coordinate of the point to retrieve. | grYCoordinate | Y-coordinate of the point to retrieve. | grZCoordinate | Z-coordinate of the point to retrieve. |
Remarks - Reminder: For the data in a Surface chart, the XY plane constitutes the base of the surface while Z indicates the height of the point.
- To retrieve data from a Stock chart, it is recommended to use <Chart>.StockGetData.
- To retrieve data from a Scatter chart, it is recommended to use <Chart>.ScatterGetDataXY.
- To retrieve a data from a chart, use <Chart>.GetData.
